Mark Your Book Of The Month

I know!!! I always tend to miss some of my Book Marks of the month.

I'm so sorry guys.

Well I have something interesting to show you for my bookmark for this month though.

Now this time I have to pull out some dough's. I have to say that this was quite expensive of course! compared from my previous book marks which was FREE. Haha
This is it!

Its a stretch band book mark with a pen or marker holder at the front.

This is a very good idea especially readers out there that loves to highlight words or paragraphs that hits them, I myself is guilty of such actions plus serving you with a book mark.

I find this very sleek BUT minor down fall, whenever I stuff this in my bag and I grab it out it tends to get hooked to my other stuffs in my bag thus leading to damage the book as well if you forced it out. Just a minor thing but everything else is fine.

 Now I find this very helpful not just for readers like us but I guess for students or people who loves using planners.

I got this at our local bookstore.

The National Bookstore for P80 or P90 I guess. I'm so sorry I forgot how much it was exactly but its around that price.

Free Printable Bookmarks!

In the past few months I sort of forgot to post some bookmarks that I have been loving so I collected some and just recently remembered to post them for you. This is kind of a delayed monthly bookmark extravaganza but don't fret cause I got a lot of goodies to show you all for free and you can easily get them. Especially if you have your own printer but if not you can just print them off to your nearest computer shops.

 

Before that I would like to share with you this cool Decepticon bookmark/ruler that I got from a Kellogg's cereal box. Hahaha!  I know, very nerdy of me but I really find it awesome and I practically used it for a month as my book mark. I wasn't expecting that I will get a Decepticon. Usually you always get the good guys so yeah! Simple joys of my life there ahaha!

 

If you are a fan of Hayao Miyazaki who is a famous Japanese film director, animator etc. of Ghibli Studio you would die for these cool and FREE book marks which I got from this link CLICK HERE.

Aren't they adorable ahaha I really love the story and seeing freebies like these makes me giddy!

There simple I know but I enjoy these simple stuff especially when its related to my interest.

 

Another cool bookmark that I got is from this foreign website that I'm just not exactly sure where its from, I mean which country but I'll put the link afterwards. So this one is just a very easy to do bookmark. All you need to do is cut, fold, tape and your ready to use it as a book mark. You just cap on the page you are already in but just a warning it does slip easily if your not careful carrying your book around so it does have some flaws to it but hey! its free and cute hahaha

 One of my faves! One fact about me is that I'm cat lover, so anything cat related junk is a treasure in my eyes. SERIOUSLY! Now this is not just any ordinary cat bookmark. Its a Cheshire cat from Alice In Wonderland which where I got my cat's name from.

Now going back, sorry aha I got these freebies from Hello June which is from France. Obviously I'm not really a subscriber of her blog cause I don't speak French that good but I just bumped into her website because of these gorgeous bookmarks. Mark Your Book Of The Month!

Its been awhile since I did this, Cause I forgot I have this part or segment in my blog monthly.
hahaha! Typical me. So I decided to start doing it as much as possible cause I love bookmarks. If you must know bookmarks are one of the factors that motivates me to read more.
For those who are new to this, basically every month I'll be posting interesting bookmarks that find in the internet or stores and share them with you.

So for this month, I saw this on tumblr.

Book marks are bit of a factor for me to be motivated to read somehow. I find a lot of perky book marks this days and thought of  this post series. 

Hope you like it!

For this month's book mark would be different. I looked for something fun DIY so ended up up with a book mark origami. Now these practically didn't cost me a lot cause I basically grabbed a paper and started folding things up. Drew some bunch of animals and VIOLA!   

Now that sounds so freaking easy huh? but I wasn't able to do it like what I wanted to be so ended up wasting papers. In the end my supposed to be book mark of the month is now stinking at the trash.

But I'll still show you my MUST have been book mark. Sorry.

I know this is a bit late for my February book mark of the month but better late than never right?

Me and boyfriend went out to power books, a local bookstore here in the philippines.

Most of what they sell besides book of course are school supplies and cool random toys aha

 

Anyway I got these nautical, very summer vibe designs,

They are just those conventional type of bookmarks but I love the design of it.

PLUS! You can place a photo in your bookmarks.

For mine, I just place a fact or quote of appreciation that I got from a magazine.

Which I totally agree with it.

For the month of January, I got this adorable D-Clips which I guess stand's for Dog clips. Haha! They are this huge paper clips style book marks. There were even a lot of animal designs but I chose this cause I heart dogs so much. And one of these clips is my dog!

I got this at SM department store for only P75.00, Very inexpensive.

I only got one of these while the rest I gave them away cause obviously I just need one.
I chose the dachshund one solely because that's my doggie's breed.

How dainty?! I'am so happy I got this. There soooo adorable! WheneverI read it always reminds me of my dog.  I love it!

Here she is, my baby!
Her name is "Bacon" cause I love eating bacon. ahaha
